For Pandit onboarding or compliance workflows, we may also collect identity information such as Aadhaar details and tax information such as PAN, where required for that workflow. We use this information to create and manage accounts, arrange ceremonies, communicate about bookings, provide support, process payments through the selected payment provider, complete compliance checks, prevent misuse, and improve the service. Depending on the activity, our lawful basis may be your consent, performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, or our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service.

Sharing and payment information

We share information only when needed to provide the service, such as with the Pandit involved in a booking, service providers working on our behalf, payment providers, or authorities where the law requires it. Payment details are entered into the payment provider checkout; Siddha Theertham does not ask you to send full card numbers by email or support chat. Each provider may have its own privacy notice.

Retention and your choices

We keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described here, including account, booking, tax, dispute, and legal recordkeeping requirements. Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal information, withdraw consent, or receive a copy of information you provided.
